I have been a portrait photographer for a decade now specializing in family, children, maternity, and the likes. It is my absolute passion to capture memories for the story book. My photography and story telling journey goes back to middle school with me snapping photos on a 35mm film on automatic with no other goal than to capture our youth. I have several tabletop albums to relive these memories! My parents kept photo albums of us growing up, and every time my siblings and I get together, we laugh and tell our stories. With that joyful experience, I aspired to do the same for my children so here we are!
Growing up in a family of 11 kids, we did not have any elaborate vacations, however, that did not mean our childhood was short of adventures and memories. We spent so many summers and weekends at the river, lakes, etc fishing, swimming, rafting, and just living our lives free with the wild. These are by favorite and best memories!
Now as a momma, giving my kids the best and finding balance is my #1 goal. We try to spend as much time outdoors as possible. In the early pandemic days, we took that opportunity of isolation to venture the outdoors more, and have not stopped! With the kids older, more independent, and more interested in exploring the world, we are taking it on one trail at a time.
This blog will document our journeys of travel and photography. Family photojournalism is the core of storytelling, and I can’t wait to share our favorite memories with you along with tips we learn along the way in hope that our stories will inspire you to explore this beautiful earth as well. Thank you for following along our adventures.
